OSA Level 2 Award in H2S Safety is an OSA qualification designed for people who may work in environments where hydrogen sulfide (H₂S) may be present. It provides structured learning in H₂S hazards, exposure risks, detection and monitoring, personal protective measures, and appropriate emergency response.
What learners will develop
- Identify H₂S hazards, sources, exposure risks, and warning signs in the workplace.
- Understand H₂S detection, monitoring, safe working practices, and appropriate personal protective measures.
- Respond appropriately to an H₂S emergency, including alarm recognition, evacuation, and communication with emergency personnel.
